Baby Piddlesworth Pattern:

Equipments:
-crochet needle(size:look at the lable of the yarn)
-BERNAT Super value 53044 True Grey(this can be replaced with any color you like)
-BERNAT Super value 07421 Black
-cotton for stuffing
-sewing needle and yarn needle(optional)
-scissors
-black sewing thread
-white sewing thread(with sewing machine) OR white fabric paint
-1 sheet of black felt

SIZE: 4.5"x7" 
sc= single crochet
ch= chain stitch
st= stitch


HEAD

row 1: magic circle with 10 sc and pull to tighten.
row 2: 2 sc in each st
row 3: sc in first 2 st, 2 sc in next st, *
row 4: sc in first 3 st, 2 sc in next st, *
row 5: sc in each st around
row 6: sc in first 5 st, 2 sc in next st, *
row 7: sc in first 6 st, 2 sc in next st, *
row 8: sc in first 7 st, 2 sc in next st, *
row 9: sc in each st around
row 10: sc in first 10 st, 2 sc in next st, *
row 11~16: sc in each st around
row 17: sc in first 10 st, dec in next st, *
row 18: sc in each st around
row 19: sc in first 7 st, dec in next st, *
row 20: sc in first 5 st, dec in next st, *
row 21: sc in first 3 st, dec in next st, *
row 22: sc in first 3 st, dec in next st, *
row 23: sc in first 2 st, dec in next st, *


LEG x 2

row 1: magic circle with 10 sc and pull to tighten.
row 2: 2 sc in each st
row 3: sc(only hook 1 top strand in front of you) in each st around.
row 4: sc in each st around
row 5: sc in each st around


BODY

Creating body starts with connecting 2 legs with crotch in between 
1. Set the 2 legs beside each other.(keep the ends inner side)
2. Grab the L leg(from your left) starting from the ends count to the 3rd st counterclock-wise, start st from there.
3. Add 2 ch across to the R leg where it's the opposite of the L leg. (With R leg starting from the ends count to the 3rd st clock-wise).
4. From R leg to the L leg sc in each st across.
5. L to R
6. R to L
7. L to R
8. R to L (at this point, you've created a crotch in between the legs)
9. Now you're on L leg just continue sc in each st around the L leg to R leg.
10. Once you crochet around the R leg, that's the 1st row of the body.

row 2~3: sc in each st around
row 4~7: sc in each st around BUT you going to be dec 1 st at on the sides of the body so it'll gradually get smaller on the top part of the body.

Tummy Pocket:
1. With felt cut out the shape of a pocket.
2. Sew on the front of the body with a sewing thread.

ARM x 2

Creating arm starts like t-shirt sleeves, flat and then sew the sides together
row 1: create a knot with 12 ch
row 2~8: sc in each st across

at this point we're decresing (this is the shoulder): 
row 9: sc up to 11th st (one stitch showed to be left)
row 10: sc up to 9th st (one stitch showed to be left)
row 11: sc up to 7th st (one stitch showed to be left)
row 12: sc up to 5th st (one stitch showed to be left)    
row 13: sc in each st across

Making into an arm(with paws):
1. Starting from row 8 sc to row 1.
2. Flip the arm inside out.(Don't cut the yarn)
3. sc in each st around.
4. sc in first 2 st, dec in next st, *
5. Create a knot, sew through each st.
6. Pull to tighten, make triple knot from the inside.  


TAIL

row 1: magic circle with 5 sc and pull to tighten
row 2: 2 sc in each st
row 3: sc in each st around

1. Close the end, sew through each st with needle.
2. Pull to tighten and make a knot.
3. Decide which side to be front or back of the body and place the tail on back of the body.
4. Do the method when you sew a button.(Put the yarn thread through the butt and through out the butt. Wrap the yarn thread around the tail behind few times. Sew the yarn thread through the butt again and make a giant knot)
5. Pull the tail slightly to see if it's not coming off.


EAR x 4

row 1: Create a knot with 8 ch.
row 2: sc up to 7th st
row 3: sc up to 7th st
row 4: sc up to 6th st
row 5: sc up to 5th st
row 6: sc up to 4th st 

1. Make a knot and tuck the left over yarn thread in the st.
2. Start from where the crochet started, sc the edge around the ear.

Attaching ears:
1. Align 2 ears together, sc the edge around the 2 ears together.
2. Repeat with the other 2.


FACE

Eye x 2:
1. With felt cut out oval shape.
2. On the felt you have 2 choice: 
a. Using white thread sew zig-zag stitch in circle from the sewing machine.(that's what I did)
b. Use white fabric paint and draw out the circle.

3. Sew the felt on the head with sewing thread.

Mouth:
1. Stitch the mouth with a yarn thread creating the shape of "x"
   

Putting all together
1. Sew the ears on the head with yarn thread.
2. Stuff the arm with cotton and sew the arms on side of the body with yarn thread.
3. Stuff the head and the body with cotton.
4. Sew the head and the body together with yarn thread. 

In the pocket, put whatever you like =)
